this word is new to me. shoo. i am told it is the same as "go away" or "get lost". when it was explained to me it inspired me to paint these two paintings. it is the one pair i would buy for imelda.
There is something very striking about your humor. A social commentary behind it which impresses me to say the least. I see your mastery in all your work but I think you should stick to doing these kinds of images. It is one thing to paint well it is another entirely to make bold statements.
Imelda is a f@#king monster. This painting is not right. You are making her into an icon and what we should be doing is having her ROT IN SOME STINKING JAIL.
Mr. I don't have the guts to put my name. Art is supposed to touch your emotions so this set of paintings OBVIOUSLY succeeded with you. So don't say the painting is not right. It IS right. It just not right FOR YOU. So respect it. And leave it be.
Why would anyone ask if Juan Felix was a fan of Pollock. Warhol I can understand but what in this painting would ever prompt someone to think of Pollock.
AMAZING!!!!!!!! I love it!!
ReplyDeletethe glorification of evil people is sickening BUT I get a guilty pleasure with this pair of shoos.
